Neo Lele Bogatsu

Chief Executive Officer

Neo is an Executive MBA graduate of the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Botswana where she graduated in 1996.

Neo spent 4 years at Ernst and Young as an Audit Supervisor and was responsible for a team of trainee accountants. She then joined Barclays Bank of Botswana, where she held three managerial roles in the finance department of the bank. As Head of Business Performance and Analytics she gained experience in Management and Financial accounting, Tax, Risk and Compliance.

She is a Finance professional with in-depth experience in Strategic Planning, Project Management, Budgeting and Forecasting. With years of experience in Banking and financial institutions operations this has provided a solid foundation for her career as an accountant and business leader.

Neo is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Botswana Institute of Accountants and Botswana Institute of Bankers. Neo joined Bifm in the role of Chief Financial Officer in June 2011. She was promoted to the position of Chief Financial & Operations Officer in 2013.

Neo has been appointed as the Bifm CEO with effect from 1 December 2015, after assuming the position of Acting CEO from 1 March 2015.

Thato Gaebepe

Head of Client Relations

Thato graduated from the University of Botswana in 2007. He joined Bifm as Client Relations Manager in August 2013. Prior to that, Thato had been at Stanlib as an Equity Analyst. Thereafter he joined Alexander Forbes Financial Services as an Associate Consultant in 2012. He was promoted to position of Head of Client Relations with effect from 1 April 2016. His duties include client relationship management and Business Development

 

 

 

 

Galeboe Motswainyana

Finance and Operations Manager

Galeboe has over 12 years of post-qualification experience in auditing, accounting, financial management and administration, 8 years of which was at a Senior Finance role in the Hotel and Gaming Industry. Her previous experience was attained from Training with Deloitte; one of the big five firms for 4 years.

 

 

 

 

Baledzi Makobo

Corporate Risk & Compliance Manager

Baledzi graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in Australia in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology (Information Management). He later on earned his MBA from the University of Southern Queensland in September of 2009. 

With over 10 years work experience in areas of governance, risk and compliance, Baledzi previously held roles at the Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited (BIHL) Group, Botswana Life, Local Enterprise Authority as well as at Bifm where he started his career. His responsibilities include the development of strategies and systems to manage and control business risk and compliance in terms of best practice and international standards as well as implementation.
